The City of Osseo is located in the northeastern part of Hennepin County, Minnesota. Originally Osseo was under the government of townships of Brooklyn Park and Maple Grove. In the Spring of 1875, by an act of the state legislature, Osseo was incorporated with a president, three councilmen, a recorder, and a treasurer constituting its officers. See more here.
Boerboom Veterans Park
Located at Central Avenue and 4th Street in downtown Osseo, Henry J. Boerboom Veterans Memorial Park offers a bandshell where concerts and performances are held during the summer months, along with movies and music in the park each Tuesday evening throughout the summer. The park is shaded, has picnic tables, and is beautifully landscaped. Significant monuments commemorate the names of residents who have served in several wars. Boerboom Park is directly east across the Street from City Hall, 415 Central Avenue, Osseo.

Osseo Library
Osseo Library is located on the main floor of the Osseo City Hall building. It is part of Hennepin County Library, nationally recognized as one of the top library systems in the United States. The collection focuses on popular and children's materials and includes books, CDs, DVDs, newspapers, and magazines. Four computer workstations provide access to the Internet and the databases and other electronic resources available through Hennepin County Library.
